Frequently asked questions
Q. Can I start for free?
A. Yes. The Beginner plan requires no credit card and includes everything you need to get started with up to 5 offers.
Q. What happens when I reach 5 offers?
A. Your existing offers stay active. To create new ones, either close old offers or upgrade to Pro.
Q. What about SMS?
A. SMS notifications to customers are included in the Pro plan. On the Beginner plan, we send email notifications.
Q. Can I cancel Pro anytime?
A. Yes. No commitment. You keep Pro features until the end of your billing period.
Q. What does 'active offers' mean?
A. Those are the offers you're still working on. Once a deal is done or cancelled, it no longer counts.
Q. How do deposits and payments work?
A. With Pro, you can require a deposit when the customer accepts the offer. The customer pays securely via Stripe. Popserve charges a 5% transaction fee (excl. VAT), and Stripe's card processing fee (typically 1.5% + €0.25 for European cards) is added on top. You can also log manual payments like cash or mobile transfers - completely free of charge.
Q. When will the money reach my account?
A. Payments are automatically transferred to your bank account. This normally takes 2 business days. For your very first payout, Stripe holds the money for 7 business days as a security measure — after that it speeds up.
